Spotlight on Literacy
Welcome to the first Spotlight of the Corlears Spot!
This is our first Spotlight of many more, and we’ll keep them all together in one Spot for you.
CORLEARS learning specialist, LINDSAY HIGGINS recommends:
Reading Rockets: a national multimedia project that offers research-based reading strategies, lessons, and activities designed to help young children learn how to read and read better.
Read Write Think: Materials and tips that provide ways to introduce your child to reading, age-appropriate book suggestions and rainy day activities.
Child’s Play in Action: a link to their video blog about combining songs, word play and rhyming to make building literacy skills fun.
